Growing up, instead of spending time in front of a TV, my mom would give me a box of crayons. A fresh box of 64 and some paper and I was out of her hair for hours. As I grew older, I drew everything in sight. My favorite subjects were comic strips, but really anything would do.

My school book covers, folders, church bulletins, restaurant napkins and even the backs of important papers (oops) were always packed with doodles. After I won a citywide art contest, it was assumed that I would be an artist when I grew up. Well, as high school came around, I also developed a love of math, leading me to a degree in Finance and a career as a Real Estate Appraiser.

However, after the birth of my second child, I just got the unshakeable desire to paint children’s furniture and décor. I have no idea why, considering I had never painted a thing in my life. I attribute the “calling” to my mom, who had recently passed away and had always urged me to do something with my God-given talent. She was my best friend, biggest fan and the purchaser of all of my millions of crayons.

Although my business is growing in leaps and bounds, I still like to do everything myself. I am meticulous about the entire process and each piece created by me is as perfect as humanly possible. I carry only the best of everything. I have searched the universe for only the absolute best, high-quality furniture, handcrafted wood products that are so sturdy and made with great precision, the best quality canvases out there, top quality ribbons and non-toxic paints and finishes. I only put out top-of-the-line products and my clients really appreciate it.

Each piece that I do, from an entire bedroom set to each little wall letter, is pored over for countless hours until I have created the absolute perfect design for each clients’ needs. Many times I come up with my ideas in my dreams! I love having a working relationship with clients, whether in person or through email, going back and forth with ideas and examples – until we come up with “the One”. I love doing the art – and I am not skimpy with it. Look at other hand painted items out there. They do the minimum art at the maximum price. I love to put as much art and detail in each piece – to truly make them the masterpieces that they should be. So, while I do sell the finest furniture and décor out there, what you are actually buying is ME! Rest assured that your order will be top priority and obsessed over until it is in your child’s room being loved and cherished. That’s what its all about!
